Coordinate Grid Snacktivity

Sometimes I stumble across an activity that is just perfect in every sense of the word! This one:

✅ Introduces a BIG concept in a way that’s FUN

✅ Gets my children to eat ALL the healthy snacks

✅ Can be played WITHOUT my help after the first couple rounds

The queen of munchy math, @_snacksize, posted this activity a few weeks ago and I knew we had to try it!

What’s the math here? It’s introducing my son to a coordinate grid. He’s identifying the place where the data on the horizontal axis and data on the vertical axis meet. All while he snacks away on almonds and carrot chips!! {Parents of the world cheer!! 🎉}
